Client Statements

Create account statements showing client transactions, payments and outstanding balances.

What is a client statement?

A client statement summarises account activity for one client over a selected period. It can show invoices, recorded payments, the total invoiced amount, the total paid amount and the remaining balance.

Create a client statement

Statements are created from the selected client’s profile. Follow the steps below.

Open Clients

From the left navigation menu, select Clients. This opens your client list.

Open the client

Find the client whose statement you want to create. Select the three-dot menu on the client card and choose View.

Select Statement

On the client details page, select the Statement button above the invoice list.

Choose the statement period

Enter the required Start Date and End Date, then select Filter to display transactions for that period.

Review the statement

Check the Total Invoiced, Total Paid and Balance Due amounts. Review the transaction table to confirm the invoices and payments included in the statement.

Email or download the statement

Once the information is correct, use Email Statement to send it to the client or Download PDF to save and share a copy.

Available statement actions

Email Statement

Sends the statement directly to the client and records the result in the statement email history.

Download PDF

Downloads a professionally formatted statement using your business details and selected document design.

Who can use statements?

Client Statements are available exclusively on the Professional plan. Starter and Business users must upgrade before they can create, email or download statements.

Client Statements summarise account activity. They do not replace the original invoices or payment records stored in InvoiceSAZ.
